Education and income generation is a powerful way for girls and young women to become independent and provide for themselves and their families. The need for skills-based learning is more important than ever before. Through our empowerment programs, we create jobs and a reliable income for parents of our students and other community members who have little to no formal education. We show thousands of people from impoverished backgrounds that they are resource-rich in ability, determination, ingenuity, and motivation.

We inspire and invest in entrepreneurs. We teach them best practices and give them small loans to start businesses. We teach them accountability, resulting in payback rates consistently over 90%. Second, third, and fourth loans empower proven business owners to increase their profits. Participants in the program make regular payments on their loans until they are repaid. Then these repayments are reinvested in more aspiring entrepreneurs, continuing the cycle of empowerment.
Tailoring Skills
- Our tailoring program equips women with practical sewing skills to create, repair, and customize garments for personal use and income generation. By mastering stitching techniques and design basics, participants gain the confidence to start their own tailoring businesses or seek employment in fashion-related industries.
Beauty and Hairdressing
- This training provides women with professional skills in hair care, styling, and basic beauty treatments, opening doors to careers in the beauty industry. With hands-on experience and customer service training, they are prepared to run their own salons or work in established beauty businesses.
