Our school offer higher quality education than the other options available in this community at cheaper prices than the private schools. They cultivate lifelong learning in children and their families to ignite holistic transformation. We provide a quality, Christian education to more than 150 children, from nursery junior high school, in disadvantaged communities Kenya.
Our students are supported through our child sponsorship program. For $1.30 a day, you can make a direct and profound difference in a child’s life. Your sponsorship ensures that your sponsored child receives an excellent Christian education, nutritious food, medical care and the opportunity to hear the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
Through our empowerment programs, we create jobs and a reliable income for parents of our students and other community members who have little to no formal education. We show thousands of people from impoverished backgrounds that they are resource-rich in ability, determination, ingenuity, and motivation.
Through training on business skills (Skills include fashion and design, hairdressing and beauty, knitting, jewelry-making), we inspire and invest in entrepreneurs. We teach them best practices and give them small loans to start businesses. We teach them accountability, resulting in payback rates consistently over 90%. Second, third, and fourth loans empower proven business owners to increase their profits. Participants in the program make regular payments on their loans until they are repaid. Then these repayments are reinvested in more aspiring entrepreneurs, continuing the cycle of empowerment. As businesses grow, confidence and self-respect grows. This loosens chains of addiction, prostitution, and illegal drugs, building up families and securing communities.
Our restoration initiatives focuses on mental, emotional, relational, educational and spiritual health. Through community engagement team, we engage and equip one community member to equip and mobilize others. We help communities identify their needs, evaluate their God-given resources and find solutions to improve their lives. We have also established Women in STEM mentorship program to encourage women to pursue careers in STEM.
Through our child survival program, we teach expectant and new mothers proper prenatal care and healthy nutrition for infants and toddlers. We also model and teach disease prevention and healthy habits to our kids and families. Then they teach these lessons to their friends and neighbors, multiplying the benefits to transform communities. We also work with disabled children rescuing them and giving hope to them
Jesus Christ is our source of hope. In all we do, we seek to draw men, women, and children to Him. To help them experience God’s love for the first time or in a fresh way. To help them grow in faith so that they can share the Hope within them.
As we meet physical needs, we focus on nourishing the soul through abundant life in Christ. Our staff views every opportunity for connection as an opportunity to share Christ’s love so others may know Him personally. Whether equipping a single mother with income-producing skills, teaching children in the classroom, or sharing life through support groups, we teach and model the Good News of Christ’s redemption, reconciliation and restoration.
