What to Expect on a Light & Hope
Trip

Mission Teams

We love having visitors at Light and Hope Initiative! More than 50 visitors come to Kenya each year to see and experience the ministry! Short-term teams encourage and impact our students, staff, and community. Each team brings skills to share, boundless energy to encourage and uplift, and God’s love to pour out to others.

Be immersed in the culture

Spend time with our team in the Mathare Valley communities. By visiting homes and meeting individuals in the community, you’ll experience daily life and activities through their eyes.
