Education:
A bachelor’s degree required
Experience:
Grant writing experience, preferably with an education focus.
Experience which should demonstrate a proven track record of securing new funding opportunities; comprehensive knowledge of research.
Proven work experience as a Grant Writer or similar role
2 to 3 years of experience as a successful grant writer.
Previous grant budget development and management.
A proven record of securing major grants with certifiable references.

Duties & Responsibilities:
Assist with the execution of the development department’s strategy
Identify grant funding opportunities
Write, submit and manage grant proposals
Furnish prospective funders with supporting documents
Collaborate with Board Members to compile an annual report.
Developing relationships and collaborating with key stakeholders
Displaying adherence to the organization’s mission.
Maintaining proficient knowledge of the organization’s history and programs
Securing funding to help our organization operate throughout the year.
Researching grant opportunities, writing compelling grant proposals to acquire funding, and working with our leadership team to ensure we have enough capital each year.
Ultimately, work with our leadership team to understand our financial needs and ensure we attain funding.
